A Semi-Custom Approach to Building Your New Home
There is an important difference between semi-custom construction and a fully custom home. A fully custom process often begins by designing an entirely new house from the ground up. Our process is more streamlined.
We begin with one of our eight available floor plans. Each plan has already been developed with functionality, comfortable living spaces, and practical construction in mind. From there, we work with our clients to personalize appropriate aspects of the home.
Depending on the selected plan and project, personalization may include:
- Choosing available interior and exterior finishes
- Selecting colors, flooring, cabinetry, fixtures, and other design elements
- Discussing available upgrades
- Making minor adjustments to an existing floor plan when feasible
- Choosing features that complement your lifestyle and preferences
This semi-custom approach provides homeowners with meaningful choices without requiring them to navigate every decision involved in designing an entirely new floor plan from scratch.
Choose From Eight Established Floor Plans
Every household has different priorities. Some homeowners need additional bedrooms for a growing family. Others want a home office, larger garage, open kitchen, comfortable primary suite, or plenty of space for guests.
We currently offer eight floor plans, giving our clients several options for finding a layout that matches their needs. Our model lineup includes plans such as the Magnolia I, Barrington, Cypress, Bridgewater, Glenbrook, Sable, Ashton, and Hillcrest. Available models offer different combinations of bedrooms, bathrooms, garage configurations, living spaces, and square footage.
For example, the Magnolia I provides approximately 1,853 square feet of living space with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open kitchen, and a two-car garage. The Sable offers approximately 2,502 square feet with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a three-car garage.
Rather than asking you to imagine a home from a sketch alone, our established plans provide a clear foundation for evaluating how a particular layout may work for your household.
Quality Construction Is at the Center of What We Do
A new home needs more than an attractive floor plan. The materials, construction methods, finishes, and attention to detail behind the walls are equally important.
At Everlast Homes, we have approximately 40 years of combined experience, with backgrounds that include homebuilding, cabinetmaking, and finish trim carpentry. That experience influences the way we approach both major construction elements and the smaller details that help make a finished home feel complete.
Our homes are built using concrete cinder block construction, and our current standard features include items such as high-density foam insulation on exterior walls, all-wood cabinetry with soft-close doors and drawers, upgraded cabinetry, granite surfaces, stainless steel appliances, upgraded trim, irrigation systems, and additional features. Specific materials, products, and available selections can vary, so we encourage homeowners to review the current standard feature list when selecting a home.
Building on Your Property in Flagler County
Already own land in Flagler County? We can help you determine how one of our available home plans may work with your property.
The characteristics of your lot can influence numerous parts of the construction process. Lot dimensions, setbacks, access, utilities, drainage, grading, soil conditions, driveway placement, and local building requirements may all affect what can be built and where the home can be positioned. Our process includes reviewing these considerations before finalizing the project.
Evaluating the property early helps establish realistic expectations and allows us to identify potential site considerations before construction progresses.
A Homebuilding Process Designed for Clarity
Building a home involves many decisions, but those decisions become more manageable when there is an established process.
We begin by learning about your priorities, discussing the available plans, and identifying the options that make the most sense for you. If you already own property, we also evaluate important site considerations. Once you select a floor plan, we can review available finishes, features, and feasible modifications.
From planning and selections through construction and the final walkthrough, our goal is to keep the process organized and help you understand what comes next.
As a smaller, family-owned company, we believe personal attention matters. We focus on maintaining high standards throughout construction and providing homeowners with a finished product we can be proud to put our name on.
